[Via Zoom] Joining the Unitarian Church of Montreal – Remembrance day

All of our veterans who were members of “The Greatest Generation,” and who carried our Remembrance Day wreath for years, are gone now. They were among the generation that had a vision of the United Nations and who wrote and ratified the UN Declaration of Human Rights in 1948. As members of subsequent generations, we are called to carry forward their legacy in a time when we are challenged by our own fears of a potential Third World War looming before us. We take this day to mourn what was and what is, and to find sustenance to uphold our dreams of the basic human right to live in peace.
