The late United States Congressman John Lewis used to urge people to “make good trouble.” When and where has good trouble appeared during hard times in human history? We’ll look at some old myths, and more recent stories of mischief and disruption.

Reverend Janet Parsons is the minister of the Gloucester (Massachusetts) Unitarian Universalist Church, where she has served for the past 10 years. Prior to this ministry, Janet worked as an affordable housing specialist, and raised two sons. She is proud of her Canadian heritage, particularly in these times.
