For this talk\, our goad to reflection will be the overflowing passion and paradoxes of the legend of St Francis of Assisi. \n~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ \nHéros et légendes sont de véritables stimulants à la réflexion : pouvons-nous trouver le courage et les bonnes raisons de changer en nous inspirant de leur inspiration ? Drawing on Indigenous teachings\, historical truth\, inspired insights\,  Amy Panetta\, Lay Service Leader\, traces Canada’s colonial past alongside the enduring resilience of Indigenous nations. From the Two Row Wampum to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission\, we explore how gratitude and justice intertwine\, welcoming us to remember that Thanksgiving on Abenaki land includes honoring both the harvest and the healing still underway. \nIf you are interested\, feel free to bring a dish that features one or more of the three sisters: corn\, beans\, and squash to contribute to our coffee hour after the service! \n~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ \nCe dimanche\, nous vous invitons à considérer la gratitude non seulement comme une émotion\, mais aussi comme une relation sacrée\, qui nous appelle à la réciprocité et à la responsabilité. Jane Goodall was a  world-renowned primatologist\, conservationist\, and humanitarian whose groundbreaking work with chimpanzees forever changed how we understand our connection to the natural world. Together we’ll sing a Swahili song inspired by her time in Tanzania and share a personal family story led by Kevin Jensen that honors her spirit of curiosity\, compassion\, and hope for the planet. \nRejoignez-nous pour un hommage chaleureux au Dr Jane Goodall\, décédée il y a quelques semaines\, le 1er octobre. Jane Goodall était une primatologue\, une écologiste et une humanitaire de renommée mondiale. Son travail révolutionnaire auprès des chimpanzés a changé à jamais notre compréhension de notre lien avec la nature. Ensemble\, nous chanterons une chanson swahili inspirée de son séjour en Tanzanie et partagerons une histoire familiale personnelle\, animée par Kevin Jensen\, qui rend hommage à sa curiosité\, sa compassion et son espoir pour la planète.

Join her this Sunday as she discusses her vision for the Stanstead Stone Circle which was birthed in the autumn time! \nNée à Newport\, dans le Vermont\, mais ayant toujours vécu à Stanstead\, Kim Prangley se destinait à une carrière dans le théâtre pour enfants.
