DESCRIPTION:Come celebrate Poem in your Pocket Day with poetry\, candlelight\, and delicacies. Come and listen\, or bring a favourite poem or one of your own to read in the language of your choice. In the midst of National Poetry Month\, Poem in Your Pocket Day is an international movement that encourages folks to center poetry within their daily interactions. On PIYP Day\, select a poem\, carry it with you\, and share it with others at schools\, bookstores\, libraries\, parks\, workplaces\, coffee shops\, street corners\, and on social media using the hashtag #PocketPoem. \n~~~~~~~~~~~~ \nVenez célébrer La Journée d’un poème dans votre poche avec de la poésie\, des chandelles\, et des collations. Venez et écoutez ou apportez un poème préféré ou l’un des vôtres à lire dans la langue de votre choix. Au cœur du Mois national de la poésie\, La Journée d’un poème dans votre poche est un mouvement international qui encourage les gens à centrer la poésie dans leurs interactions quotidiennes. Lors de cette journée\, sélectionnez un poème\, emportez-le avec vous et partagez-le avec d’autres écoles\, librairies\, bibliothèques\, parcs\, lieux de travail\, cafés\, coins de rue et sur les réseaux sociaux à l’aide du hashtag #PocketPoem.

DESCRIPTION:A fundraising dinner and silent auction\, co-sponsored by UUEstrie\, held at Restaurant Shalimar in Lennoxville. This will be the 6th annual celebration of this event for the benefit of Child Haven International\, a Canadian Charity based in Maxville ON\, which provides homes for over 1\,000 formerly destitute children in south Asia. All more than welcome. Speak to Phyllis Baxter (819-346-8273) for tickets or reservations \n~~~~~~~~~~~ \nUn dîner-bénéfice et un encan silencieux\, coparrainés par UUEstrie au restaurant Shalimar à Lennoxville. Ce sera la 6e édition de ce type d’événement au profit de Child Haven International\, une organisation caritative canadienne basée à Maxville\, en Ontario.
