SUMMARY:November 1st\, 10:30 a.m. Honoring All Saints\, All Souls
DESCRIPTION:This Sunday\, we celebrate the season of All Saints Day and All Souls Day by thinking together about the importance of memory and memorial. Aaron will offer a brief reflection on the cultural history behind these traditions that inform our Halloween\, and Carlye will share a bit about experiencing the Day of the Dead in Mexico. It’s a moment to treasure the memories of the dearly departed and to consider what memory and memorial mean to us. \nPlease stay afterwards for coffee hour — a chance to enjoy coffee\, treats\, and conversation together.

SUMMARY:November 8th\, 10:30 a.m. Awestruck with Rev. Diane Rollert
DESCRIPTION:If we are awestruck by the immensity of the universe\, does it make us feel small or large? How often are we able to stop and appreciate how much we are part of the universe and how much the universe is a part of us? Rev. Diane Rollert guides us through a reflection on the power of awe and what it means for our Unitarian Universalist faith. \nThe Reverend Diane Rollert has been on a lifelong spiritual journey nourished by the richness of pluralism\, having grown up with atheist Jewish parents and a Ukrainian Catholic grandmother. She served as minister to the Unitarian Church of Montreal for 18 years. Although retired from full time parish ministry\, she serves as UUA ambassador to the European Unitarian Universalists\, and mentors ministers and students. She happily lives in the Eastern Townships with her husband and two dogs where she writes\, quilts\, sings\, studies Korean and spends time with her children and grandchildren. . . \nPlease stay afterwards for coffee hour — a chance to enjoy coffee\, treats\, and conversation together.
