DESCRIPTION:An exploration of the Seven Mountains Mandate\, a movement that seeks to influence major sectors of society through Christian leadership. Professor Daniel Miller will examine its growing influence and its connections to Christian nationalism and contemporary U.S. politics. \nProfessor Daniel Miller is an Associate Professor in the Department of Religion\, Society and Culture at Bishop’s University. He holds a Ph.D. in Near Eastern Studies from the University of Michigan and teaches courses on comparative world religions\, religion and politics\, the Hebrew Bible\, new religious movements\, and Christian nationalism. His research has explored ancient Near Eastern religion and magic\, and more recently the ways religious ideas shape contemporary politics. He is an award-winning teacher known for making complex topics engaging and accessible. \n~~~~~~~~ \nLe « mandat des sept montagnes » est un mouvement qui cherche à exercer une influence sur les principaux secteurs de la société par l’entremise d’un leadership chrétien.
