This lake provides a breathtaking view that brings so many visitors each year\, and sustains a vibrant community of artisans\, poets\, writers\, and visual artists. What is it about the lake that seems to transport and inspire? We will reflect together about this lake which sits on the ancestral territory of the Wabanaki Nation (Abenaki)\, hear popular legends\, cultivate our appreciation and environmental care for all lakes\, as well as hear local poetry and childhood memories.
