We will reflect together about this lake which sits on the ancestral territory of the Wabanaki Nation (Abenaki)\, hear popular legends\, cultivate our appreciation and environmental care for all lakes\, as well as hear local poetry and childhood memories. Gabriella Brand est toujours à la quête des coutumes insolites\, des attitudes nouvelles\, et des activités spirituelles et physiques qui peuvent lui apporter une perspective positive sur la vie. Elle a adopté (jusqu’à un certain point) les idées telles que le hygge du Danemark\, le wabi-sabi du Japon\, et la vida pura de la Costa Rica. Qu’est-ce que nous pouvons\, tous\, apprendre des autres cultures? La sagesse est partout si nous ouvrons les yeux. \nSo much wisdom\, so much happiness. Gabriella Brand is always on the lookout for unusual customs\, new attitudes\, and spiritual and physical activities that can bring her a positive outlook on life. She has embraced (to some extent) ideas such as hygge from Denmark\, wabi-sabi from Japan\, and vida pura from Costa Rica. What can we all learn from other cultures? Wisdom is everywhere if we open our eyes.

After eight years in Senegal\, Jonathon will also share the flaws of humanitarian aid and the lack of male support in villages and from governments\, but how neither can hold back the integrity\, commitment and successes of these amazing women. (version française suit) \nWaterforAfricanWomen.org\, Huit ans plus tard\, avec Jonathon Ellison. \nJonathon fera le point sur les efforts de l’UUEstrie pour aider les femmes à créer des jardins maraîchers\, à gagner un revenu stable et à créer la sécurité alimentaire en Afrique de l’Ouest. Après huit ans au Sénégal\, Jonathon partagera également les failles de l’aide humanitaire et le manque de soutien masculin dans les villages et de la part des gouvernements\, mais comment ni l’un ni l’autre ne peut freiner l’intégrité\, l’engagement et les succès de ces femmes extraordinaires.
