DESCRIPTION:Join us at UU Estrie on Saturday\, May 24 at 2 PM for The Year to Save the Earth\, a powerful musical and multimedia experience by renowned composer Jim Scott. Known for his lyrical songs of ecology and his contributions to the Unitarian Universalist hymn book—including the beloved hymn Gather the Spirit—Jim brings beauty\, insight\, and inspiration through music and projected imagery. Former guitarist and composer with the Paul Winter Consort\, Jim co-wrote their celebrated “Missa Gaia/Earth Mass. He was awarded an NEA grant to create this multimedia experience. The message is that the time is now! As well as hard reality\, the program’s message is one of optimism and inspiration to take environmental action.
